“Didn’t you see what I did?!” Chelly (This is the only Pairing I can think of right now, sorry^^””)

(that’s fine!! uwu)

Chell stormed out of the apartment, furious. It had been an incredibly long day, with a customer shouting at her at the cafe when she didn’t put enough milk froth on the coffee, having to clean up after a child who was sick, and then getting caught out in the rain on the way home.

After all that she was looking forward to returning home, which would be tidy, warm and above all, dry. Instead, she was met with a very flustered, yet proud, Wheatley, and an incredibly messy kitchen. Flour was everywhere, broken eggs lay on the floor, and there were unwashed dishes all over the place. After the day she had, that was the last straw, and her last refuge was ruined. She simply glared at Wheatley, turned around and left, just simply too tired and few up to deal with it.

“Wait! Chell, love, wait!” Wheatley cried out. Chell sighed and turned around.

“Look, I was going to clean it up, I promise it’s just that I was so busy with getting it finished and the time just flew by, funny how that happens, and before I knew it you were there and it was going to be a nice surprise but I guess it ended up not being as nice-”

Chell cut him off, “What were you doing Wheatley? I’ve had a really long day.”

“You mean- didn’t you see what I did?!” Wheatley cried out, arms flailing all over the place.

“Well, I saw the mess-”

“No! Not that, the- ok, just wait a moment.” He urged, dashing back into the apartment. A moment later he returned, carefully walking over to Chell, focused on a beautiful, deliciously frosted cake that he held on a plate.

“Oh!” Chell said, “I didn’t know you could bake!”

“Well, I asked that lady upstairs, you know, the old one, and she taught me how! And I thought, since I can’t really do much, it would be a nice surprise for you.”

Chell walked back to the apartment with Wheatley carefully following.

“It looks delicious. But you are going to clean up that mess, right?”

“Of course!”
