Cosplay Time~!

So I finally started Planning my Mimi Cosplay! ^0^

Mimi Baker from Tales of Legendia. An adorable yet not very important NPC from an under appreciated Game. This is what she looks like:

Isn’t she just too cute? Funny thing is she is also one of the strongest Characters in the whole game! Guess what she fights with?

Bread

Yes she’s a Baker and she fights with Bread… PERFECT!

I already bought the sewing pattern. I had to add two more sizes to the pattern by drawing them, since there were a lot dresses in my size but this one was perfect for the Cosplay^^ So instead of buying a pattern that had fitting sizes I bought this one and drew it in the right size xD

The x shows which parts of the pattern I need for the Cosplay^^

Now I only have to buy white and orange cloth, orange and blue trim, 13 big yellow  buttons, a white tights, black shoes and a zipper :3 I’ll go buy this or most of it next Tuesday.

It’s only my third Cosplay I hope I can make it look good! ^0^

I will… I will just hide under a leaf and die…! Q////Q

I’m really too stupid to actually use Tumblr… >////<

Why am I even posting this here you ask…? Because that’s the only thing I actually CAN manage to do on Tumblr, that’s why! QAQ

Now Goodbye I’ll crawl into my bed to die of embarrassment x////x

Alternate Account

I’m really thinking about making an alternate account and using this for Art Stuff only and the other one for reblogging Fandom Stuff xD

I like to keep things separated and clear but at the same time I don’t have enough Artist OR Fandom Stuff for two Accounts |D

So I guess I’ll just leave it the way it is…

My Facebook is only for Artistic Stuff, my Twitter is for my private babbling and my Tumblr is for both^^

“draw for real”

“draw for real”

“draw for real”

are you kidding me

wow really

I want to hunt this person down.

Pffft… It’s always the art that is the most popular at the moment that is considered the downfall of all young artists. It were the same with cartoons and also with Impressionism.

Of course while it is famous there will be a lot hobby artists that simply copy the style or even trace the pictures of their favorite Anime/Manga. And some will never do more than that. But they wouldn’t have drawn at all if it weren’t for that Anime.

Then there are those who will draw their own pictures with the style of the Anime or Manga they like. Perhaps they will alter it a bit or use it to draw their own characters, or fanart, or whatever. These Artists started with just copying images too but they liked drawing and started to become better.

Then there are Artists who draw Anime/Manga pictures but have their own style. They think intensely about anatomy and even though it might not be realistic anatomy, it’s difficult too! They think about what they draw, often need several hours if not days to finish a picture. They love drawing and want to become better and better! THEY most of the time started with simply tracing too! But as all Artists they became better with time. Some of them stopped drawing Anime/Manga style at all and went for realism or something else some stayed with this style and made excellent pieces that I consider real Art with a lot effort behind them.

Now let me repeat myself:  It’s always the art that is the most popular at the moment that is considered the downfall of all young artists. It were the same with cartoons and also with Impressionism.

All good Cartoon/Comic Artists I know started with tracing Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, or whatever from the TV screen or the Comic Books. And look what they draw now! Many other kids who also drew Mickey Mouses stopped drawing when they grew older but a few didn’t and produce great art now. Perhaps we couldn’t enjoy this art now if it weren’t for them liking Donald Duck and tracing him.

What I want to say is: Perhaps there are a lot young Artists who draw Anime and Manga pictures without putting much thought into this. Those will stop drawing, even if you don’t write such things as seen on that picture above. But a few of them will make it. They will become better and they will become great artists. But the things you write there will make them feel like what they are drawing is of no value and it will slow them down, perhaps it will even make them stop.

There are a lot Artists I admire that don’t even draw Manga/Anime that wouldn’t have started drawing at all if it weren’t for Anime and Manga.

So please, whoever wrote this and everybody who believes in this: It is pointless writing these words. Anime and Manga can be real Art and perhaps if you think about what I’ve written here you can give real Anime and Manga Artists advices instead of putting them down.
