More Fisheye Placebo promotional art! 😀

This one features some silly programmer graffiti despite the serious atmosphere. 

The pigeons with IPoAC (IP over Avian Carriers) is a proposal to carry Internet Protocol (IP) traffic by birds such as homing pigeons as a part of an April fool’s joke.

The 3 square icons next to it says eat, sleep, code.

The ones on the stairs refers to another April fool’s joke that created Error 418. Like Error 404, which means “Not Found”, Error 418 means “I’m a teapot”. 

The rest of the graffiti are various words and symbols related to the story.

Ch0 of Fisheye Placebo will hopefully be released around March…maybe…

Cavity by *Ymirr

There were quite a few requests regarding cavity, or dancing. And perhaps many wished to see some smut in regards to tooth and pitch, but i thought… Pitch looks a little like a bird himself doesn’t he? And you know what many birds do before mating, they “dance.” 

Now it’s often the male who sports the colorful feathers, but here we have the predator quite fascinated with the beautiful coat on the curious little bird, who is intrigued in return by the stranger’s elegant moves.  

I’m always neutral when it comes to ships, but nice illustrations are nice illustrations!

I think one of the hardest things to learn when you’re starting out on a making-stuff journey is which bits of that voice are valid and which bits are a waste of time. A lot of it can drag you down and get you stuck so much that you can’t find the confidence to face the stuff you need to do to get better. But once in a while there’s a real piece of honest self-reflection. Telling the difference between those two can be super tough; knowing when to listen and when to just chin up and move on.

GlaDOS vs. The Bird by *rennerei

This is hands down, my all-time favorite artwork depicting a humanized GLaDOS. The artist got her attitude, her sarcasm, her dark humor all together in one picture. I love also that they used makani’s humanization (I believe they cited her in the DA of this piece), which is one of the best ones for really conveying who GLaDOS is in a human form.
