It is… done! oAo

This is my entry for the Ubisoft E3 Contest! ^0^ The task was to draw only one Character and/or a Background from one of the Ubisoft games and I decided to picture Kyrat from Far Cry 4.
I absolutely loved this game and it’s aesthetic! The whole world was really interesting and Far Cry 4 is easily one of the graphically most beautiful games I ever played >w<
All this and the fact that Pagan Min is easily my favorite Character out of all Ubisoft games made my choice to draw Far Cry 4 Fanart really easy, even though I also like Child of Light and other games uwu

At first I wanted to make a banner with all the Antagonists from Far Cry 4 and the Protagonist with fitting Backgrounds but after reading the rules I wasn’t so sure if that is allowed since it stated we were allowed to draw only one Character, that’s why it only shows Pagan Min. I would have loved to draw Yuma and especially Noore too but oh well QAQ
After all Pagan Min is still my fav Character so I’m glad I could draw him >w> He is really well written and depicts the wanton dictator and self declared King really well ^0^ Also his Background is awesome but I don’t want to spoiler anything, maybe you still want to play the game? Also the best part about him are his Quotes, that’s why I included some of my favorites owo
Also I didn’t draw him in his usual clothes. Mainly because they wouldn’t have stood out against the already pink Background but also because I really liked the coat he was waring in his intro ^0^ It was a pain to find references though, haha. Especially for the brooch so I just drew her kinda whatever, soorrryyy |D He is kind of younger in this picture, I imagine around the time when Iswari left. I included blown out candles too, one even in his hand because I imagine this must’ve been a dark time for him. I actually wanted to draw them lit but decided against it in the end.

Even though I could only draw one Character, at least I could include many places and things from the games that I liked ^0^
From left to right it shows a statue of Kyra and the typical scenery of Kyrat with mountains and such. I’m not very good with drawing grass, sorry QAQ But I think the Mani Wheel turned out well! It was one of my favorite parts to draw, all the patterns and carved in lines are so much fun uwu
Then after the Prayer Wheel there is the Shangri-La which we visit as Sidequest in the game. I honestly fell in love with it the moment I saw this surreal world! As you can tell by this picture already I really like slightly surrealistic sceneries so Shangri-La with it’s red, pink & orange color scheme, the floating islands and huge statues really fascinated me ^0^ Of course I had to include it in my picture >w> Again, grass is not my strong point, as well as trees, though these turned out okay? I guess? On the lower right of the middle part I drew a map of Kyrat as one can see it in the menu. It is completely self made and doesn’t show a real place. Upper part shows burning poppies, which happens in the game at one point uwu I’m really glad how they look, okay? I can’t draw flowers well usually ^0^
The right shows the Arena. I really needed to include this place at it had sooo many cool elements owo Especially the chandelier! The elephant was fun to draw, even though I was a bit unsure at first if he’d look okay, haha. And he was way easier than the crowd x_x But again the pattern are my favorite part ^0^ The pattern on the wall is inspired by the wallpaper of Far Cry 4 with similar drawings. in the middle it shows the two rebel group leaders. I hope that doesn’t count as character! As well es the crowd and the elephant xD But the knife was simply the best to draw! I would’ve painted the pattern even more complex if I would have had the time owo Also I hope the Holi is recognizeable^^

Anyways, that’s it for this picture ^0^ I turned it in 1 Minute before the deadline ended xD Sadly at the end a lot of things went wrong, such as the format were too uncommon to upload it and I had to crop the picture and even add black bars on the top and the bottom of it. Now it’s so small it’s barely recognizable orz I’m a bit sad since I’m never able to win like this but at least the picture was fun QwQ

Most important to me is that you guys like it though ^0^
Constructive Critisism is always very welcome! Especially since I don’t paint very often it would help me out a lot!
