i have a lot of favorite parts in this game but this one is definitely up there in the top 3. having a bomb literally explode in your face and then being badass enough to stay conscious and glare at your ex-partner. damn Chell.  damn.

  • Wheatley resulted in the deaths of 10,000+ people in his attempts to keep them alive.
  • Wheatley failed to kill anyone in his attempts at mass murder.

Yes, but sort of not really.

Chell killed those 10,000 people. She knocked GLaDOS offline, and she was the one connected to the main power grid. Their death was no fault of Wheatley’s.

Because if it’s nothing recognisable I’ll just make my own headcanon:

When Chell was labeled as a subject, they installed this kind of electronic barcode, so she would be intercepted as such everytime she enters any place in the facility or she tried to scape, sending an inmidiate ding of recognision.
